Trip to Bulgaria 2024
Trip to Bulgaria 2024
Our cultural immersion will begin in Sofia with a tour of the capital. Kustendil will be our next destination to explore, offering a cherry fair in June, along with an option for you to prepare a dish from the traditional cuisine. In Karlovo we will enjoy the Lavender Festival, where aromas and beauty are celebrated. We will also visit the fortress Hisarluka and Monastery St Luka. The Rila Monastery and Bansko are inspiring sights, hidden deep in the Rila mountains.
Embark on a train ride and experience how the locals travel to Plovdiv to admire the mix of Roman ruins, art, authentic architecture of the 18th century and Kapana -the creative part of town. Another train ride will take us to Burgas, where we will enjoy the beach at Ravda. The ancient city Nessebar, located on the peninsula surrounded by the Black Sea, holds timeless medieval buildings dating back to the Byzantine era.
